As part of my placement with Creative Spark I was asked to create a new look for there social media posts that reflected the new branding of the studio.
SparkEats is part of there monthly social activity where each month the team visit a local restaurant in Manchester, with a spending limit of £10-20, enjoy the food and drink and then give it a rating out of 5. For this project I need to create a series of instagram story posts, as well as regular post designs, that reflected the new branding in a interesting and current way to graphically promote SparkEats across their social media channels.
For the designs I looked extensively at the current branding for Creative spark, across a number of platforms to get an idea of what elements I could include to help link it all together as well as Instagram food blogs and other like it to get inspiration on how other where promoting food related content on the platform. I think the deigns turned out really well using similar elements from a number of Creative Sparks branding work, things like the overlapping images and the ‘never stop’ wording’, while adding the aspects needed for the SparkEats promotion to create an information but creatively interesting design.
